Join Us at the Beach!

Heather Pilder Olson and Jenni Prange Boran offer writers' retreats twice a year in Grayland, Washington. Join us in January and July for focused writing time, exercises to motivate you, and a fantastic community of writers. Our groups are small--usually 8-10 people--and the setting will inspire your work. Prices include all meals and accommodation for four days and three nights.

Dates for our summer retreat are July 25-28, 2025.

The Setting

We stay in two houses (nicknamed the Dog House and the Cat House) on the Washington Coast, in a small beach town called Grayland. It's just a short walk to the beach and the houses include fireplaces, cozy rooms, fully stocked kitchens, and views of the trees and the surf. Private rooms are $250 and bunks and shared rooms are $150. 

The Writers

Jenni and Heather are both graduates of The Film School in Seattle, and have both written and produced screenplays, as well as web content, fiction and poetry. Together they will inspire you with their words, wisdom, and writing exercises. We welcome writers at all levels, in all genres. Learn more about Heather here. Learn more about Jenni here.
